Ryan Adams has confirmed dates and venues for a series of solo dates commencing on the October 11 release date of his new album Ashes & Fire (PAX-AM/Capitol).
Following up on a recent sold out tour of the UK and Europe, the shows mark Adams’ return to the road in the U.S. for the first time since 2009.

New Album Out October 11 on PAX-AM/Capitol
Solo Acoustic U.S. Dates Kick Off Week of Release
Ryan Adams will release his new album Ashes & Fire October 11 on PAX-AM/Capitol in the U.S. Adams’ first solo album to be released via a new U.S. arrangement with his own PAX-AM label and EMI’s Capitol in the U.S. and Canada, the album was recorded at Sunset Sound Factory in Hollywood and produced by Glyn Johns, renowned for his work with the likes of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Clash, The Who and The Rolling Stones–and whose son Ethan produced previous Ryan Adams albums Heartbreaker, Gold and 29.
Ashes & Fire also features guest turns from Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench as well as Norah Jones who contributes piano and backing vocals on several tracks.

Having recently completed a sold out tour of the UK and Europe, Ryan Adams will soon be announcing a dates and venues of a solo acoustic tour of California and the Pacific Northwest this fall.
This just in…Ryan Adams will be playing Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on October 21 as part of City Arts Music Festival 2011.
Festival wristbands go on sale August 5 with single show tickets available on August 24.
